Questions involving our campuses

What hours are the administrative offices open?

Hour are kept under the Campus menu item in the student portal.


What hours are the classrooms open?

Hour are kept under the Campus menu item in the student portal.


Where do I smoke?

The designated smoking area is located outside, 25 feet from the door.


Where can I park?

Students are free to park in the open air parking spaces around the building in the non-reserved, non-visitor spaces.


Can I eat in the classroom?

Eating is not allowed in the classroom. We have a nice student break room.


Can I bring drinks into the classroom?

You can bring a drink into the classroom as long as it has a cap or a cover. (Example: a water bottle)


Do I clock out every time I take a break?

Regular breaks are considered part of your time here. Only clock in when you get here and out when you are leaving for the day. If you leave the premises to go to Lunch (for example) please log out and log back in when you return.


What if I forget to clock out?

Please let your instructor know and they will adjust your earned hours. Habitual forgetting to log out will not be permitted. Be sure to create strong work habits now.


Can I bring my kids to school with me?

They are not allowed in the classroom while you are here to attend school.


Can I leave my cell phone on in class?

In consideration of your fellow classmates please put your cell phone on silent, vibrate, or turn it off.


Can I take a call in class?

If you need to take a call, please step outside the classroom or outside the building.


What is the dress code?

Asher College has a specific dress code based on workplace guidelines. Employers regularly visit Asher College. Even if you are not yet ready to start interviewing, it is always important to represent yourself and the school well. Additional information on our dress code is discussed during enrollment and is in your orientation packet or new student binder.


What do I need to know about perfume, cologne and personal hygiene?

Clothing should be clean and free of odor. Hair is always to be clean and neat, in natural tones without excessive ornamentation. Facial hair must be clean and neatly trimmed. Please minimize the use of perfumes and cologne; many people are sensitive to the smell. Exposure to these smells can lead to respiratory problems, headaches, and itchy / watery eyes.
